We currently serve 65 riders per week. Our riders have various specialties: autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, progressive developmental delay, attention deficit hyperacitivity disorder, processing delays, and many other more.
In addition, Little Britches has an 'at risk' and foster care program where the students learn from the ground up. From grooming the horses and tacking them up in riding gear to cleaning stalls and checking the horses for any health concerns. Throughout the semester they care for the horses while they learn to ride. The result is a comprehensive experience cultivating responsibility and commitment.
Little Britches currently owns four horses Truffles, Dually, Summer, Tinkerbell and Artie. We lease Misty, Taz, Teddy Bear, Del and Mocha.
